Baroque

Baroque : 1 - Artistic trend characterized by the curve, the luminous contrast, the trompe-l'oeil “optical Illusion” and the effects of movement. Born in Italy, the Baroque developed between the Renaissance and neo-classicism in the Catholic countries of Europe and Latin America. 2 - By extension, the adjective Baroque means convoluted, exaggeratedly decorative, bizarre, like the irregular pearl at the origin of the word.
