Completed : Is said of a carved work considered by the sculptor himself as completed. A completed work is not necessarily finished.
Honed: Surface finish of a material made with abrasive. There are some very thin stripes invisible to the eye, the surface is soft to the touch.
Affêt : In a pejorative sense, is said of a figure or a composition for which the artist has sought with affectation a kind of elegance and grace mannered.
Arrangement : Arrangement, arrangement of parts of a figure, draperies in the figure or several figures grouped together. It can also be said about the organization of a bas-relief and the connection between them of certain ornaments. Previous Next
